How tracking your progress rewires your brain

The other day while I was cooking, I caught myself quietly saying, "I'm so proud of you, Candice," as I reflected on my business. It took me by surprise, so I went detective on how positive self-talk had become so automatic. 🤔
This is what came to me. I regularly review my progress in business and life. My cycles are weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually, and over multiple years.
When I summarise what I've done, the challenges I've navigated, and the ways I've grown, it always makes me feel proud.
Each time I do this, I’m strengthening neural pathways to acknowledge and feel proud of my progress. Repetition is key, and my review cycles provide that.

I've become that woman who mutters under her breath about how proud she is because that’s become my brain’s default mode.
You don’t need to be as structured, but finding a way to consistently acknowledge and feel proud of your progress might just lead to you talking to yourself while cooking too! 🤣💃
