Why I stopped saying "I'm sooo busy!"

When I was at Microsoft, my soundtrack was:
"I'm soooo busy!"
But I wasn’t just describing my life, I was programming my brain to zero in on busyness, and the pressure and overwhelm that came with it. 😵💫
It did such a good job, I burned myself out into a debilitating nervous system pain condition! 😬
Life’s still full, but now I try not to say “I’m so busy". Okay, sometimes I slip up, but I usually catch myself!
Mostly, I say things like “A lot of great things are happening!”
Not only am I NOT negatively programming my brain to focus on and create more busyness, I'm switching the channel to notice more great things that are happening in my life.
Double win! 💃🏽
What's your 'not-helpful' soundtrack? 🤔
“Everything’s so chaotic” or maybe “It's just one thing after another"?
Whatever it is ... notice what you’re programming (you're unknowingly asking for more of this!) … and try switching the channel.
You'll be improving your experience of life ... one day at a time! 🌈💃🏽
