My biggest ChatGPT tip!

Okay, don't get me wrong ... ChatGPT is an amazing tool, and I use it for soooo many things.

But I never, ever let it write for me (these days). Proof reading, yes, but even then, only up to a point.

"No thanks, ChatGPT, I don't want that sentence to sound "more professional" ... I want it to sound like ME."

You do you when it comes to what you're comfortable outsourcing to AI. But if you're going to use it to either write or proofread ... here's my number one tip.

Change the long dashes it loves so much—like these ones (they're called em dashes)—to either hyphens or commas ... or just drop them.

It's a dead giveaway you 'cut and pasted' from AI because the em dash doesn't even appear on standard keyboards!

Let's save the world from too much AI "polish" ... one em dash at a time! 😅
